RIVERDALE PARK, MARYLAND
The Washington Post’s recent article, Whole Foods debuts in Riverdale Park, another symbol of Prince George’s progress, highlights the impact of the MV+A designed Riverdale Park Station on the county. As expressed by Prince George County Executive Rushern Baker, “Riverdale Park Station is a transformative development project….a perfect example of the progress and promise of economic development in Prince George’s County.” The opening of the first building, containing a Whole Foods Market and adjacent in-line retail, is just the beginning of the story for Riverdale Park Station. The next three retail and office buildings are under construction, along with the first phase of townhouses. Multi-family residential will be following soon, creating a vibrant community, linked to nearby neighborhoods by bicycle, pedestrian and public transportation arteries.
