At MV+A, our response to sustainable design ranges from creating “green” buildings to developing sustainable communities. Environmentally conscious design is a place-making solution involving the natural land, water, and energy resources of each site. In response to the climate crisis and our highly dependent ecosystem, we consider energy recycling technologies and recyclable materials, renewable resources, and high-efficiency mechanical systems for every project. Our mixed-use projects, for example, address the energy/climate crisis through site selection that offers access to public transportation, jobs, shopping, and recreation, as well as clean air and safe spaces.
